Carefree- A marketplace-like atmosphere with a select group of artists, artisans and retailers are displaying their specialty items in categories such as Health & Beauty, Home Décor, Fashion, Art, Sports, Food, and Jewelry at the ‘Taste of the Foothills’, March 21st at 2pm, to benefit the Foothills Caring Corps. Downtown Carefree shops will be open for browsing or shopping as you stroll through the GasLamp District in Downtown Carefree. Entertainment includes an “Elvis” concert, ongoing music, a live auction, and drawings for four $5,000 raffle prizes! Join the festivities! Enjoy the town of Carefree, a smalltown jewel just north of Scottsdale that features lots of marvelous delights, restaurants, entertainment, and shopping. Raffle ticket is $100 or 2 raffle tickets for $275, and are good for admission of 2 people as well as the raffle. General admission is $25. For a $1,000 - $ 5,000 patron donation, guests will enjoy a special private performance by “Elvis”, special food, wine and spirits, valet service, program acknowledgement, as well as all the other fun and shopping! The mission of the Foothills Caring Corps is to enhance the quality of life and promote the independence of homebound residents in the foothills community.
