Revelers Ready for Great Arizona Picnic
One of the most popular events at this year’s Festival is the Great Arizona Picnic on the beautiful grounds of the Scottsdale Civic Plaza. On Saturday, April 18th and Sunday, April 19th, guests will dine on picnic inspired favorites while sipping fine spirits at the Absolut Tent, top-shelf Patron margaritas from Camarones Margarita Village, or frosty beers at the Southwest Festival of Beers sponsored by New Belgium. Apart from the food, 16 hours of live entertainment over two days is this event’s trademark. Performers include Alice Tatum, The Chadwicks, Mark Zubia, and The Chris Parker Project, and Cold Shot & the Hurricane Horns.

Bands will play from noon until 10pm on Saturday, and from noon until 6pm on Sunday On Saturday, join cooking demonstrations from Akira Back of Yellowtail Sushi in Las Vegas and Dustin Clark of Wildwood Restaurant in Portland, Oregon. On Sunday, four chefs will compete in the famous ‘Challenge to the Chefs’ and turn a mystery basket of ingredients into an appetizer and entrée against a ticking clock.
