PRIMO AMORE COOKING EVENT WITH SASSI CHEF PETER DERUVO
Sassi Cooking Class Feb. 4 at Whole Foods on Mayo Blvd. AAA Four Diamond Sassi Chef Peter DeRuvo is celebrating the month of love with a “Primo Amore” cooking event at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4 at Whole Foods Market located at 7111 E. Mayo Blvd. in Scottsdale. Chef DeRuvo will demonstrate how to cook and prepare three courses guaranteed to bring on the romance this Valentine’s Day. Courses include zuppa of butternut squash soup with goat cheese crostini, ricotta gnocchi with prosciutto and wild mushrooms and grilled wild salmon with Yukon gold potato torta. Guests will experience tastings of the three dishes paired with wines, along with the opportunity to learn oneon- one from the Sassi executive chef. Recipe cards for the Primo Amore meal in addition to chocolate truffles will be provided at the cooking demonstration as take-home gifts. The Sassi cooking event at Whole Foods Market is $15.
