| LITA FORD – WICKED WONDERLAND (JLRG) |
![]() I am hearing Jim’s high-pitched vocals more frequently than any guest vocalist on any album ever. I’m also hearing something that sounds more like a confusing, non-cohesive effort. One might think you were a musical duo now a’la Simon & Garfunkel yet the album is credited to you. Heavy industrial noises that may have been hip 15 years ago and nothing resembling your past don’t help the fact that there are no songs on this album. I’m sure you put your best foot forward, but your fans were probably expecting something resembling what they loved from you. This record sounds like you were asked to contribute occasional vocals on someone else’s album. Sorry, I’m just don’t get it. Perhaps this is your “Elder” or “Shadowlife” (KISS and Dokken’s miserable musical failures). If so, learn and grow from it. When you are ready to do a real Lita Ford album, please let us know. – Stephen Wilkinson Rockzone Records, 2155 E.
